Emoze

Emblaze has released Emoze 1.3, a free secure wireless push e-mail and personal information management service. With Emoze Personal Edition, anyone with a compatible mobile phone can receive work or home e-mails and PIM data, such as contacts and diary scheduling, on their mobile phone or PDA on the move, anywhere in the world. As a real secure push wireless e-mail service, Emoze will automatically push your e-mails and PIM data to your phone as soon as it is sent to you without you having to pro-actively connect to a service every time you want to send or receive.

For the past few years, this type of service has been available mainly in a very costly package and mostly restricted to a specific hardware and software platform, such as the Blackberry, limiting mass-market adoption. Emoze removes such barriers with a free, simple, flexible, and secure service creating significant savings for corporate users and consumers alike. Version 1.3 build 4.2 added a new feature OWA capabilities. After downloading emoze users are given a choice of using their own PC as a connector; or the central server. If the user chooses the central server, they will have to install the emoze mobile client and will then be prompted to provide their OWA credentials which are encrypted and stored locally on their own mobile device.
